Information We Collect
Server and Access Logs
Like all websites, StationSense's hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically collects standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security and traffic analysis and is not sold or shared with third parties beyond Cloudflare's standard service operations. Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited most, how visitors arrive, and how they navigate the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data via cookies. It does not collect personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We may also use Microsoft Clarity for heatmap and session analysis to understand how visitors interact with pages. Clarity collects anonymous interaction data (mouse movements, clicks, scroll depth). Advertising
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites. StationSense is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Data Retention
We do not store personal user data on our servers. Server log data is retained by Cloudflare per their standard retention policies. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for the standard 14-month period.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we collect very limited personal data, most requests will involve directing you to the relevant third-party service (Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare) to exercise your rights with those providers directly. We may update this privacy policy as our practices change or as legal requirements evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was published.
